President Ken presents the first of three $10,000 cheques to Jim Stuart of Neighbourhood Works Inc., located at 59 Union St. in St. Stephen.The Rotary Club of St. Stephen-Milltown has agreed to donate $30,000 over 3 years in $10,000 increments to Neighbourhood Works Inc., located at 59 Union St. in St. Stephen, to assist them in reaching their goal of becoming a community service hub. Rotarians see the value in the important work that the organization is already doing in our community, such as the weekly community kitchen meals, the breakfast program seven days a week for the unsheltered, the use of showers and laundry facilities as needed and their efforts to open the warming centre this winter. The Rotary commitment looks forward to the additional operations they have planned.
