Every person who purchases a ticket is appreciated and is a winner because they each support initiatives that provide assistance that are of benefit to the people of all ages in our community.

Historically speaking, this annual fundraiser, initiated in 1974 in support of the Rotary Wheels, Junior B Hockey Team which existed for 10 years, has continued to focus Rotary action on positive activities for the children and youth of our community and been consistently supported by the citizens of St. Stephen and area. Funds generated by ticket sales have contributed to multiple causes and initiatives over the past decades.

Service Above Self, in small and large doses, provided by both ticket sellers and buyers, by Rotarians and friends, accomplishes a great deal as Rotary strives to meet both demand and need in St. Stephen.

Since the start of the Super Draw in 1974 there have been 48 grand prize winners, dozens of early bird and consolation prize winners and hundreds upon hundreds of people sharing the smaller $100.00 cash prizes. Grand prizes have included new cars and dream vacation trips but most winners have preferred to receive cash equivalents. Rotarians have been proud to host the draw itself at a ticket holders dinner featuring good food, cheque presentations, suspense and laughter. The covid pandemic changed the approach to a CHCO televised draw most recently, but Rotarians plan to host a dinner again in 2023.
